Building to LEED standards does not have to be more expensive. Making your project green is easiest to do when the planning is detailed. Green Street will work with your project team to define which LEED credits to pursue. During the LEED Charrette and meeting with your project team, Green Street will define the owner’s goals, confirm the purpose of building to LEED standards, specify the level of attainment and which LEED points will be pursued, brainstorm innovative ideas and credit strategies, and review each team member’s skill set.

Green Street Development will consult you to help make your remodel project an enjoyable experience.We are happy to help you through the design phase, city permits, material selection, and sub-contractor referrals.

OUR 6 STEP SERVICE

1. 1-hour consultation at your project’s location.
This meeting is complimentary, and is intended to understand the project and offer insight to green design and planning. After the initial meeting, we are available to provide a no charge estimate for our service and further evaluate if our service is a good match for your project.

2. Architectural drawings of the existing structure.
If you do not have existing architectural drawings, we will draw your existing floor plan to scale.

3. Architectural drawings of your new Plan.
Based on your needs and vision for your project, Design Review ready plans will be provided.

4. Plan submission and City’s approval.
We will process your plans for approval.

5. Green Planning, the Team Charrette.
Homeowners have different goals and needs when doing a green remodel, we will help you prioritize your project for efficiency, a healthy home, sustainability, and/or practical design and material choices.

6. Sub-Contractors Fees
An overwhelming number of homeowners are choosing to hire their own sub-contractors, and act as their own Contractor. If this is the case, allow one of our pre-screened sub-contractors to bid on your project, providing excellent quality while saving you time and money.
